It has to be one of creams best March 4, 2004 Jamie E. I. Wright 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Iam not sure why anybody would underrate this album its full of excellent hard and chilled progessive trance.Like tunes like shake dub, dirty, extreme ways and play with me.Its also got a never deep trance feel to which makes it sound even cooler in most of the tunes. Both cd have equal quality i feel with lots of other favorites like yet another day, summer calling and ibiza sunrise chilled out emotional tune.I very different trance collection very cool.
Don't be put off by the other reviews! January 30, 2003 R. Wilson (Leeds, UK) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is a great album - there aren't many that fill the middle ground between excessively cheesy commercial albums and serious underground ones, but this fits that gap perfectly. It's also technically very well mixed, with well-selected tracks blended almost perfectly. One problem though: what where they thinking when they chose that Lasgo track?!
More of the same but that's no shame September 19, 2002 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Following hot on the heels of the hugely-successful Future Trance album, which though resolutely underground, shifted over 100,000 copies, comes Future Trance Ibiza. Cream's weekly club night at Amnesia has been a highlight of Ibiza's summer of 2002 and has seen their punter count up massively on last year. This has inspired the creators of this series to rush release Future Trance Ibiza, 40 of the hottest club tracks from the season, spread over two CDs. Future Trance Ibiza features crossover hits, in the form of Moby's Extreme Ways (Tiesto instrumental) and from Tiesto himself In My Memory, which rub shoulders with such current club favourites as 4 String's Diving (Cosmic Gate remix) and Darren Tate vs Mike Koglin's Now Is The Time. Chuck in some underground smashes - including 3 Drives' Carrera 2, Joy Kitikonti's Joy Don't Stop and Josh Gabriel's Wave3 - and lo and behold... two CDs of the most cutting edge trance tracks available. As if that wasn't enough, there are also some absolute classics remixed for 2002, including the Energy 52's Cafe Del Mar (John '00' Flemming mix), El Loco's remake of Amnesia's 'Ibiza' and Yves Deruyter's 'Calling Earth' (2002 Remix).
Disappointment September 15, 2002 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
Yet again Cream fail to deliver on the Trance stage. Upon listening to the first disk I was greeted with a progressive intro. This never really built up into the Trance that was done so much better on other available albums, finishing on a poor remix of Cafe Del Mar. The second disk tried to build a harder sound but again failed to deliver Trance.Overall I don't think that Cream should have labelled this album Trance as it ain't. I'd buy Godskitchen's or Gatecrasher's Summer albums as they're a lot better.
