5 out of 5 stars Let it take you away..... (:   August 13, 2007

I have to say that I have a helluva collection of Trance albums, ranging from 98' to now, & a great knowledge of trance/dance, being a dj. This is DEFINETLY my favorite album of all time! Unique, unusual, very stylish! If your a progressive house/trance fan, you must, & I reapeat MUST! have this album (: 5 stars from me!

5 out of 5 stars Oh Yes...   May 28, 2007
Mr. P. Gascoyne (England)
(Note - this review apples to the double I.S.O.S. 4 album)
Ok, to start, I have I have all 5 "In Search Of Sunrise" albums as well as nearly ALL Paul van Dyk, Euphorias, (bar the hard house and chilled ones) Armin Van Buurens and about 70% of Tiesto's albums. I only mention this as it annoys me so much when I read reviews that slag off albums I love from people that know nothing...
Anyway, back to topic. I must say, this is definately the best one of the 5.(I'm a big fan of the sort of trance with beautiful piano parts and no beat - you know the sort)
It's worth buying for the first 10 tracks on CD1 alone (applies to the double album). Very rarely, if ever (the only other album this applies to is the original Euphoria album, the black and green one) have I heard that many tracks in a row that I love.
My advice is simple - buy it and buy it soon... :-)

4 out of 5 stars Great   February 17, 2006

This is the 4th installment in the ever popular In Search Of Sunrise Series and a very good one it is too. However, I don't think it is even in the same league as the 1st three- there was something smooth and amazing about volumes 1-3. I think maybe it's just the way trance/progressive his heading these days. Dance music is always evolving so we can't stay stuck in the past! This mix comp is still a brilliant advert for what modern progressive/trance is!

In reply to someone talking about tracks being played for months: they aren't shared illegally. Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren, Paul Van Dyk....the huge DJs all get up front promos from the producers MONTHS before they are even 'white-labeled' and longer still from when they are properly released. This way hype is created surrounding tracks so when they are released and Tiesto has been caining them for months....they sell much better!

Anyway, a fantastic album and certainly worth the current price! Order today, folks!

5 out of 5 stars Nice selection   October 1, 2005

It truely is a nice selection. It is dj friendly as well. Some fans have been unimpressed with this album since it has not been mixed, but I am inclined to disagree. It is the selection that counts in this album. I have never been a fan of mixing stylye of Tiesto, as he looses beats in live concert. Therefore I don't think this album is missing anything.
