I managed to get a promo copy of this from a mate and have to say the music here is simply rocking. I've got a few of the Chemical's remixes of other peoples stuff already but this collection almost feels like I've discovered a `lost album' by the greatest dj's/producers of all time. It kicks off with The Prodigy favourite Voodoo People, which itself opens with the Chemicals trademark `rock the house then' vocal drop before sonically blowing everything in its path out of the way. Bomb The Bass' Bug Powder Dust is next which I hadn't heard but boasts a great rap and another set of awesome beats. Method Man slows the pace a little but completes the hatrick of heavy openers before the gloves really come off with two crackers - The Charlatans Nine Acre Dust which is just huge and Lionrock's impressive Packet of Peace. This was another new one to me and I looked online and apparently its by Justin Robertson who just released that wicked Art Of Acid album and who I've heard DJ with Ed Chemical a few times. Brilliant track. Leftfield with former Sex Pistol Johnny Rotten/Lydon are up next as the temperature just keeps going up and up. The set takes some great twists and turns and tracks like Sabres Of Paradise's Tow Truck (another new one to me) and Spiritualised beautiful closer I Think I'm In Love are mind blowing. Brilliant stuff Chemical Brothers - I can't recommend this enough.
