| Editorial Reviews:
Amazon.co.uk Review Headliners is an energetic compilation of progressive trance and hard-edged house from the Ministry label mixed live at The Gallery by DJ Tall Paul Newman. Tall Paul's residency at this club has bought him a huge global following and listening to this album you will see why. The double-CD format allows Paul to experiment with a diverse selection of dance music while keeping the sounds tough and progressive. Opening with Laurent Garnier's "The Man with the Red Face" the album builds and builds with Leftfield and Afrika Bambaataa's "Afrika Shox" and Green Velvet Flash's "Timo Maas Dub" featuring on the first CD. On the second CD, the mood leans towards a more hard-edged sound creating a live dance floor atmosphere, highlights include Darude's classic Ibiza anthem "Sandstorm" and Tall Paul's own "Freebase". With Killer track after killer track combined with Paul's seamless mixing make this a must for the trance crew everywhere. --Danny Johnstone

As Tall Paul is my favourite DJ, I had very high expectations for this CD set and he certainly delivers. The track selections are spot on. Just listen to the first track on CD2, Embargo! - Hysterie. It just sums up what a class DJ can do and what others should aim for.
Banging trance from Tall Paul July 14, 2000 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I was initally put of buying this cause of the varierty of tracks i had already got on other CD's but after taking the plunge, Tall Paul and Ministry Recordings have compliled a decent mix of old favs such as 'Cygnus X - The Orange Theme' and 'Leftfield - Africa Shock' alongside more recent trance numbers such as the excellent 'DJ Remy - Pumped Up' and 'Moonman - Galaxia' Remixes are deep and tribal, if not innovate bringing together a deep dark compilation im gonna be listening to for a while!
