This is top stuff .. if you keep up with the trance scene through shows like TATW and AVB's state of trance you'll have heard a lot of these
Best described as vocal ambient trance it wont be everyone but you'll be hearing a lot of these songs on the dancefloors this summer. This and Touaregs Airwave are this summers dance albums ...

The tracklisting on Rain Stars Eternal runs as follows:
Intro Part Of Me Rain Stars Eternal Late Summer Fields Filoselle Skies Spectrum Lunar Rings Breakaway 4ever Slave Last Defeat
The music you hear in a club isn't necessarily the music you want to listen to at home. Solarstone have managed an admirable feat by creating an album which is equally suited to both environments. Really, there are tracks on Rain Stars Eternal which are fantastic if you just want to chill out in your bedroom, which I can equally imagine clubbers going hands-in-the-air mad for when they are played in a club. Solarstone's 'sound' is a sort of blissed-out trance (it reminds me of a more beat-driven Chicane, or even the 'dreamhouse' of the mid-nineties). The exceptions are the electro-soul ballads 'Filoselle Skies' and 'Slave', the dance-pop of 'Breakaway' and the ambient closing track 'Last Defeat'. Rain Stars Eternal is an amazing album which is both uplifting and possessed of incredible emotional depth. I'm sure it's destined for future 'classic' status.
