Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
This adapter allows an iPod (3rd generation or newer, but not the iPod shuffle) digital music player with a dock connector to be connected to and controlled by select Sony receivers. All the iPod buttons will be disabled when connected to this adapter and it will be controlled from the Sony receiver. With this interface, you'll be able to play your iPod music files through your Sony receiver and have all the titling information appear on the Sony's display. Using the optional XA-C40 (item number 158XAC40), this adapter and two other compatible Sony UniLink devices (satellite tuner, CD changer, etc) can be controlled by the same receiver.

The iPod controls on the radio/remote are easy to use when moving from track to track and/or album to album, answering calls via the bluetooth couldn't be easier by pressing the volume button to answer, the audio streaming from the mobile again very easy. Dislikes are really only me being picky, the blue display just doesn't go with the rest on my dashboard and can't be changed (dual LED like earlier models would have been nice)and having to take the fascia out is annoying, why don't Sony use a code system.
