 Why buy a larger, more expensive option? November 7, 2008

I bought this item so that I could have MP3 ringtones on my phone. It works straight out of the packet with no need to install anything. I used it on Windows Vista and it just found whatever it needed to run and was available for use in about 10 seconds. I found the phone very quickly and easily and downloads quickly too.

Ever since my wife has discoved how easy, quick and fun it is to trasfer music from PC to her phone over Bluetooth, she is not at all bothered to connect a UBS cable (even if its lying next to her:).
She wanted a BT dongle and I ordered this tiny powerhouse for her and she is quite happy.
The reason I decided to buy this product is because of its small size, resonable price and brand (BlueNEXT). I also have a BT GPS receiver from BlueNEXT which works like a magic and so is this BT dongle. I thinks BlueNEXT use CSR bluetooth chip which is very good.
Good Points:
- Very small, you will be surprised when you see it.
- Easy to use. Install the supplied software, stick the dongle into any of the available USB port and you are ready to go.
- Good signal range.
- A2DP music streming is very good as well.
Bad points;
- Nothing that I have noticed yet.

Good value. Small but definitely NOT "ultra small" as described by Amazon. I suspect this is an inherent design issue for all such devices. I use it on my Asus eee 900/XP and performance is good. Comes with the now standard BlueSoleil software.
Looking at the picture the silver USB plug from the two little notches (circles) all the way to the top sticks out of the USB port - still a lot smaller than many others.

Plug it in, let windows find it (about 25 seconds) & use it. YES, it really is as simple as that.
If you're going to add bluetooth functionality to your computer, BUY IT...

3 days passed after arrival. First, fast delivery & fit to my laptop easily. For WinXP,used the bundled CD, For Vista, the system searched the driver automatically from the internet & worked well. The seamless streaming work superbly with Nokia BH-604(stereo headset).
