Classic track worth grabbing March 16, 2007

If you've heard the epic For An Angel then this is a product well worth grabbing. Remarkable that the single is still available. Usually I prefer the extended club mixes of tracks, but in this case the 'Angel In Heaven'/Radio Edit is just perfect brilliance - For An Angel in all its dazzling glory. The Ashtrax fallen mix is a break-beatish mix, and not really a dance floor track. More a heavy ambient/background beat.
If you haven't heard the track before then give it a go. It's hard to describe why Paul van Dyk's single is so beautiful, and hence why it is regarded as a trance classic. It's atmospheric and energetic, mellow and euphoric. It is at the same time quintessential, but different to the mainstream... not so utterly melodic as 'true trance', and not so anthemic as 'commercialised trance'. It's just pure PvD.

A supurb tune, a little old but will stick with the clubber 4eva and it gets better, with the newer not released remix (lover) over the top it deserves more stars than there are in the sky!
