5 out of 5 stars Wonderful Kit   October 2, 2008
Michael Brennan
Excellent piece of equipment for those who seriously want to remix their MP3s/ WAV files or just join them in a seamless mix with no problems - knocks spots off PC software mixers like Mixmeister.
The controls are clearly labelled and easy to manipulate for flange (phasing ) , repeat break effects, scratching , extending 16 beat bars or whatever you want.
Unfortunately one of the other 2 reviewers didn't bother to do any research on this item and gave it 1 star based on their own ignorance.

Here's the deal - it' only 99.99 works perfectly with Vista and XP but it doesn't include a sound card( it doesn't claim it does ) - it is intended to make use of your own PC based soundcard - so make sure you have a good one installed one of the creative soundblaster or X-Fi cards wok perfectly - I use extreme music soundcard and it rocks with this equipment ( sound card only cost 40 separately )

Can also be used with a laptop to take to venues to DJ from your laptop - again make sure you connect to a good sound system to get the most out of it.

Awesome idea, if it works. Once you have got it up and running, the sound quality is awful, just try tweaking the sound when its playing, it is what nightmares are made of. best using your money to by the turntable for your pc.

I've bought 2 of these & I am about to return the second one. Both have been shipped without the software, so as far as I am concerned Ion can stick their controller where the sun never shines!
