One Hell of a Dance Album!!! May 3, 2006 Mrs. M. Tetlow (Preston, England) Reall good album with great tracks, maybe mixed together a little quickly, but aprt from that i loved this album, and at a good price to!
Amazing Tracklisting - Songs Slightly too short. April 26, 2006 Graham Nicholas 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The previous reviewer was totally right about the songs on this CD.
I have rated it slightly better because i think that the tracks on this cd are all 9/10 per song. The problem is, Ministry have tried to cram as many songs on each cd as they can. The mixing isn't bad but i think if they had put 13 or 14 songs each about 5 minutes the cd would have got 5 stars without a doubt and i think that the previous reviewer would have given more than 2 stars.
I mean i am a massive Hed Kandi fan and although Ministry now own them, they still seem to be able to produce MIX cd's whereby there are songs from 5 mins to 8 mins long which is what you want.
There are about 5 tunes in particular DYNAMITE by Jamiroquai and The Disco Boys FOR YOU which i heard live when Hed Kandi were on the radio and i really wanted them. I now have them and although they are only 3 mins long each i am so pleased that i have them. I just wish Ministry had reduced the track listing to 14 per cd and made the songs longer!!
Brush these downers aside and you have a good cd. Not a bad effort!! Next time though think of this Ministry. "Less songs is more"!!
Looked promising... track lengths a let down... April 5, 2006 Keen clubber (Westcliff-on-Sea, Essex United Kingdom) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
As many may know, Ministry are undoubtedly one of the best names when it comes to good choice of club music.Whilst I got filled with excitement when looking at the track listings for this CD and not hesitating to purchase it, I was thoroughly disappointed with the track lengths, one being hurriedly mixed into the next. It's like they were in a rush for the songs to end! One of my favourite songs, speechless, was over in three minutes! The song was barely the first loop and chorus over! Ministry you pick great music, like a walk in the park, but I'm afraid this compilation is a let down with its tracks being like a free preview CD...
