NOT SO GOOD July 14, 2004 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
I was a little bit disepointed when I bought this cdIt is not the best from Ministry of Sound but it's ok to have it.
Clubbers guide 2004 is well one of my favs May 19, 2004 Jamie E. I. Wright 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
This year a good year with alot of strong trance and funky house.Cd1 being trance and second cd being house.Firstly cd1 starts with cry little sister a well know classic which i heard on that old film called the lost boys and thats old but still a classic. Then into the techno trancers by benny benassi no matter you gonna do which is good tune along with well know satifaction. Then you get that sexy tune by angel city love me right a nice funky sexy tune. The uplighting sound of close to the edge, dont give give remake 2004 which is fairly good.Favorites on the trance mix have to be noturnal delight, truly,no sleep and teknoise by the well know fergie. Also the house mix is easliy as good as the trance disc. With funkiest sexiest tunes of the likes of boogie pimps, mooloko, deepest blue and stand back nice vocals in that.Alot of other tunes which hold a classic deep funky basslines. So try it mates i dont see why some of the guys and girls think this cd not up to sctratch.
Not worth the brand its printed with March 25, 2004 2 out of 4 found this review helpful
I've been buying Ministry of sound albums for ages, You could used to expect all the best.Best current tunes, best old tunes and best yet to be released on one album but Thats no longer the case, It has about 5good songs on each CD, which is why I'd only give this 25% (I keep meaning to take it back and exchange it!)

I have bought numerous MOS Clubbers Guide compliations over the past few years and they never seem to change, just a few half descent tracks and the rest is complete trash to your ears. Just not worth the money. Wont be buying anymore!
For a change, surprisingly good February 4, 2004 Danny (UK) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
The last two years in dance music have been awful. Ministry of Sound seemed to reflect this awfulness very well. So, it was with a degree of cynicism I approached the latest Clubber's Guide. It was a shock, but this is actually half decent!Trance for disc one, house for disc two, and for a change, both selections have been compiled and mixed properly. Obviously, Ministry's noticed that the Clubland series is flying off the shelves, and are upping their game. Returning to form, yes, but we'll see if they can keep this up when The Annual Spring 2004 is released in March.
