Rubbish September 22, 2003 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Some good tracks but generally ruined by a load of awful cheesy remixes. What were they thinking of? Suitable for childrens' birthday parties only.
Trance Nation.... Cheese Nation!!! July 18, 2003 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Trance Nation... Cheese Nation!!! Very dissapointed with this album after being very please with most MOD Albums, Few good tracks. Snap rythem is a dancer is Superb and an excellent mix plus Devine Insperation, put your hand in my hand. other than these the other tracks are going to have you hitting the >> botton quite a few times. If you like yout trance poppy, vocal and cheesy..5/5 I'm rating this on what I consider proper trance.. sorry 2/5 guys.
Rubbish! July 15, 2003 Jatinder Jauhal (LEICESTER United Kingdom) This is by far the worst Trance compliation I have ever brought! This would be OK it was labelled 'HangBag House' or 80's House Remixes. How dare they call it Trance! If you think Trance is tacky remixes of 'Careless Wispers' or 'Take my Breath Away' then this is for you. Ministry of Sound normally have very good compliations, not this one. I brought it because I have lots of MOD labels one of the best is 'Clubbers Guide to Trance' - ATB. There is not ONE decent Trance song on this compliation. I will be very wary of MOD compliations now, as they seem to be so many of them!
Total Mince May 30, 2003 MoS have a number of great trance compilations- but this clearly isn't one of them. I wouldn't even call it trance- just a collection of unimaginative cliches, the worst of which are the reworkings of cheesy old 80s songs that should have been left to rot in peace. A total waste of money.
Pants Nation April 1, 2003 JimBob (Manchester UK) I was very disappointed with this so-called Trance Nation. This does not compare to the previous excellent albums, which had quality feel good tunes and excellent mixes. The 2003 album contains mostly re-hashed songs set to a monotonous tuneless 'bashing-type' beat, that sounds like it's straight from an old casio keyboard. The music was more like a repetitive hammer to the head. Don't bother.
