Amazon.co.uk Review As trance continues its ascendancy of of the world's club scene, so to rises the chequebook DJ--an unscrupulous type that cobbles together a ropy compilation in order to con those sun-addled punters eager to re-capture that Balearic daze. Thankfully, Trance Nation 2 was pieced together for Ministry Of Sound on the decks of Ferry Corsten, the man behind System F, and at the time of release, one of trance's hottest names. Eager to come on like the definitive article, Trance Nation 2 is plain in its intention and clearly aims to be the be-all, end-all if-you-only-buy-one-trance-compilation, but that's not to cast aspersions on its ruthless appeal. Remember that this stuff only tore the charts to pieces in the first place because it filled so many dancefloors, and there's no room to be sniffy when the likes of Alice Deejay's "Better Off Alone", ATB's "Don't Stop" and System F's "Out Of The Blue" are plainly such cast-iron anthems. --Louis Pattison

Like Trance Nation 1 (brilliant) August 23, 2006 Mr. N. F. Atkinson (Kent, England) If you liked TN1, you'll love TN2. Packed full of classics!
Mostly great stuff March 3, 2001 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is more a sampler CD which containing what I think is great Trance. It's always smooth and you like listening to, both loudly and silently. there are but few tracks that do not fit into the whole context, the #s 1-3 on each CD as I suppose, but they are not bad, anyway, and I doubt that there are CD's where you really like everything on them. The best compendium of trance hits I've ever come across. If you like this one, you would probably also like Trance Nation 4, but not necessarily Trance Nation 3 which is a bit more "progressive" and a bit more Techno. Note: Some tracks are different from the single versions, as this is an all-mixed-up Cd, but that only makes everything better
Simply Brilliant January 23, 2001 craigajackson@yahoo.co.uk (Blackpool) This has got to be the best CD I own. Some great tracks on here Bedrock (Heaven Scent), The Thrillseekers (Synaesthesia) and Quake (Mantra) are just three classic's. I bought this when it first came out and am still listening to it now. This CD is the best out of the 4 Trance Nations, and proves that trance will never die.
