Absalom Ostentation (Madrift)
this is smooth, flowing, atmosphere for hip hop groove fans. There are some vocal tracks, and they are solid... mostly consciousness hip hop, a nice break from 9mm/bling trash. But the instrumentals are totally fine, and they dominate. It's a right on buy and you can't go wrong. Definitely mellow in the cut, so if you're looking to bang, this isn't your CD. But if you want that dreamy kind of 90's hip hop/trip hop/break beat style served up with a modern twist, cop this disc, bro. Mushroom jazz rocks! Way to keep the momentum, DJ M Farina. I was blown away by Mushroom Jazz 2 back in the day, and am thrilled to see that the series is still so on. Peace!
