This is my first laptop, I have been on other laptops like the HP Pavillion DV6000. Comparing this Laptop to the HP I would the say this laptop is much faster. The HP has a bigger hardrive, but as it is only for me (After installing Vista around 105GB left.)it is more than enough. Very fast internet, faster than the Pavillion.

The Sound on both laptops are equal and very good.

Worse thing about the laptop would be wieght and the touchpad. But all touchpads on laptops are not as good as they should be.

Overall, very fast, will do anything for your needs and you can't go wrong.
