The book is sparce and unoriginal, the concert is boring to watch. The group hardly lift a finger between them and can only be bored. The music is excellent of course, there are pirate dvds available that have all sorts of promos in it that have never been officially released by Kraftwerk which is what the fans want to see. This is an expensive embarassment. I dont think that I will ever watch the dvd all the way through, but the cd is very good. I do understand what they are about, but that makes it worse to view as they should be performing by remote from their bicycles.

Yes, we now have a live DVD from the godfathers of electronic! This DVD is from the now infamous world tour of 2004/5. It is a stunning audio / visual feast of Kraftwerk live, now adding the glorious DTS soundtrack to an already well mixed sound on the available CD. I was lucky enough to go to two concerts from this tour and couldn't wait for this to be released!
The DVD is pretty plain and simple, straight forward concert footage, with the added difference of super imposing some of the actual backdrop effects on top of the concert footage, which works very well.The sound is quite stunning, play it loud !
My only one disapointment is that fact that it does not capture the "you had to be there" awe of the concerts, but still a very worthwhile purchase for the avid fan or even a inquisitive neutral.
