An excellent album, I bought this when it came out and it is one of my favourite albums. Early tracks from about 1990 surface on here that give a haunting reminder of how long house has been around. A must have!

Listening to this brought back memories of my holiday to the Island of Ibiza in 98. The CD's have classic tunes that shall live on forever - Robert Miles, Children, Josh Wink, Higher State of Consciousness and many more.
A great album to chill out too and dream of those Summer nights in San Antonio Bay :)

I recently bought this set after having purchased Dance eJay 5, for musical inspiration when composing my own tunes, and I can easily say it is the best compilation of house tunes ever. It has classic tunes that everyone has heard and loves, like "You Don't Know Me" by Armand van Helden along with more obscure tracks. I'm a little disappointed in the exclusion of some artists, like DJ Oakenfold, but I suppose he is more of a techno/rave musician than house. From danceable tunes to brilliant ambient music like William Orbit's classic "Adagio for Strings" this is not only a must-buy item.

Ibiza, the home of electronic music, and also one of the best places to get some sun and used to be a chillout paradise, until 1985 when dance musicians turned parts of the island into a dance mecca.This album is here to embrace the history of Ibiza, the music, the people, the clubs and the tracks that broke out there. Tracks like Modjo's Lady, Moby's Go, Raze's rave classic break 4 love and tracks like Jamiroquai's Space Cowboy are essentials. Listening to the album there are so many styles: rave, dance, house, trance, chillout and acid. One of the best compilations I have seen-worth a listen for sure.
