Hot Summer Nights January 22, 2008 The Fonz (UK) After recently moving house i stumbled my old CD collection, and tunes from my single days. I simply felt compelled to write a review about this perfect CD.
I bought this CD during my last 'lads holiday' in Zante 2001. When i play this CD it takes me back to those hot nights, about 5am in the morning after 'living it large' and enjoying every minute of the best days of my life. Drifting into a relaxed state of tranquility as i play this CD in the darkness of the hot apartment, i take a deep breath in and out as i close my eyes and smile at the night's madness.
At the time the CD took great trance tunes that were hitting the clubs: Cafe Del Mar, Deadline, Seven Days and One Week, Silence, etc. and just presented a chilled out flavor of the greatness.
Many 'chilled' albums have followed, but for me not one captures the moment of laying back in the early hours of those hot summer nights, knowing i was living the best days of my life and savoring every moment.
Enjoy the chilled euphoria!

Chilled Ibiza (mixed by Lenny Ibizarre) August 16, 2003 2 out of 4 found this review helpful
This is probably one of the best chillout albums I have ever heard and I would recommend it to anyone who is stressed or just wants to listen to some blissful, soft tunes. Lenny Ibizarre is not a very well known artist over in the U.K. simply because he doesn't promote his music as much as other artists who probably prefer becoming celebreties and making pots of money than producing good music. Ibizarre's choice of music for this album is superb, the songs merge into each other almost unnoticeably at times. The blissful beats and romantic vocals during the opening tracks of the first CD put you in a mood for love. I'd recommend to play this CD during a meal with your partner; it would really spark off a bit of romance. During the middle section of the CD the songs become rather more progressive; the beats are very laid back and remind you of chilled days on a Mediterranean beach. To finish off the album Ibizarre decides to chillout even more than the beginning with fewer vocals and less staccato beats. I recommend Synaesthesia by the Thrillseekers; a wonderful tune which sets your senses off. William Orbit's Adagio for Strings finishes oof the first CD beautifully; all in all quite a wonderful almagamation of chilled, almost ghostly tunes. I have found that when yopu listen to a double CD album the second CD seems to be less attracted to. However, Ibizarre has kept the flow going from the first CD with more esoteric flavours. Once again, the variety of artists and age of music has been superbly mixed together. IBizarre has managed to compile an amazing original album by using a great variety of flavours to give you one of the best experiences in chillout music. Artists i would look out for on this album include Zero 7, Energy 52, Groove Armada and Kinobe. Ibizarre has also inserted some of his own music into the album; he has a series of 5 CDs out called 'The ambient Collection'. I very much recommend them for ultimate chillout listening. If you enjoy listening to chillout electronic/trance music I would recommenr 'Deeper Sahdes of Euphoria' by Jay Burnett. This includes amazing flowing music which you may enjoy more if you dont like vocals very much. It's a chillout CD you should have on your CD rack; preferably in your CD player. I recommend buying Chilled Ibiza II as well as it is just as good, perhaps not as chilled. Ibizarre has also released Chilled Ibiza III, however I do not rate that much as the consistancy and flow is not as good as the other two albums.
Uplifting beats! August 8, 2002 Ollie (Cornwall,England) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
If your into hardhouse music or any kind of hard dance music this is a must buy.It has a great uplifting atmosphere as well as some phat beats.Although some tracks have a long build-up and are quite repetitive & progessive the actual tunes are great! It features loads of tracks by many different Hardhouse artists such as Tony de vit.If you enjoyed the orange HH Euphoria you will love this.It great for parties or when ever your in the mood.
