| Customer Reviews:
Much better than the previous volume February 28, 2003 This is probably the most accurate representation commercially released of one of Junior's epic sets - 5 hours recorded live from the club edited down in the studio to 2 and a half. CD 1 is fierce and tribal and heavy on percussion, peaking with Junior getting busy with the sampler on Danny Tenaglia's "Elements" and a rare alternate version of Basement Jaxx's "FlyLife". Disc 2 is more like one of his after-hours-and-well-into-Sunday-morning sets, with some rather camp moments in the form of Junior's mixes of Cher and Dolly Parton.
TIRED, TIRED May 30, 2000 A. De Anzizu Grimalt (Barcelona, SPAIN) Junior Vasquez used to rule the NYC house scene in the late 80's and early 90's. He was really fierce. Not only his mixes, but his music selection was great. This record is very tacky, like what he's doin' lately. Junior, you better listen to what you did be4!
Excellent NY House CD from the master himself February 9, 2000 The CD summarizes what Junior is all about. Flawless mixing technique of tracks that played on a powerful system would give your mother goosebumps. If love the NY sound you'll love this CD
