After originally being unhappy with no speakers on my ipod touch, i was looking for small protable speakers which had descent sound on it. These speakers break all expectations, the volume is excellent compared to the size of the iblock speaker and it even has a little bass (which you can't control) with it. You can't turn the volume off completely. I have a case with my iPod touch and it has to be removed to accommodate for this but i'm not too fusy. The sound is great and is a small and stylish addition to my ipod touch.
I read the other 1 star review before buying this, that guy used a 2nd gen ipod touch which already has speakers in built.
I would suggest this to anyone who has an ipod and wants small/portable speakers. I would NOT suggest this to those of you who have an ipod touch 2nd gen or an iphone as they already have speakers(in-built) so this will just play over it

Ordered for my iPod touch 2nd Gen to get better, louder sound than the puny unbuilt speaker delivers.
A waste of time - the iblock does not mute the internal speaker and does not play any sound either.
Totally useless.
