Product Description The WACS7500 micro system has revolutionised the world of digital music, because it allows you to transfer your favourite tracks to any room of your home using WiFi technology. The WACS7500 includes an 80 GB hard drive and a USB Direct port, not to mention Ethernet and WiFi connectivity, so you can connect it to your home network and tune in to radio stations over the internet. Just like the WACS7000, the WACS7500 is made up of a central unit and a receiver unit, and both of these units can be controlled with the help of two remote controls. The WACS7500 is also equipped with a CD player compatible with CD-R/RW discs and MP3 formats. It has a number of play modes, so you can save preferences and listen to your music as you choose. The WACS7500 can handle up to 5 receivers in hard drive mode, and it also plays music stored on your MP3 player or portable USB device. Providing 80 W of power, the WACS7500 lets you enjoy the sound of your favourite tunes in every room of your home!

| Customer Reviews:
Great features, and some poor ones January 3, 2009 Mr. David C. Derrick Its a solidly made unit, no creaky joints or flimsy finish on this, it feels weighty & well constructed. The sound quality is quite good, not top of the range, but the Bass Boost & Surround Sound work very well. The included features are comprehensive, and mostly work well. There are some "subscription" services on the internet radio, but you can ignore them. The "Music Broadcast" and "Music Follows Me" features I found quite useful.
But the WACS does have some fiddly/poor features. The wireless metworking is a pain to set up, took me hours & I work with computers. The centre WIFI symbol was showing poor signal, so I spent a while trying to improve it, but in fact it had a good signal all along, its just the display shows it does not ! The station does loose connection to the centre sometimes, but it does come back. The worst feature is the CD ripping. As a test I ripped a CD on the streamium = 15 minutes ! On my PC it took 2 minutes to rip AND transfer over WIFI to the centre HDD.
Once its setup & running, its a good unit, just dont expect to take it out the box & have it working easily.
Nice unit - if it worked December 16, 2008 Ant (Lancashire, England) 2 out of 5 found this review helpful
For the first time ever I opted to purchase a "good as new" product as this was an expensive item in my opinion for what it does. I really wanted a solution to broadcast music to multiple rooms and this seemed a perfect fit. The product was delivered on time but it did not work at all - the main unit just hung. I played around for a few hours and even spoke with Philips technical support - all to no avail - so I had to return the product. I was very disappointed this did not work and honestly lost confidence as I figured if this could happen to a "good as new" unit I may end up with similar problems down the road. I decided to rather go for a squeezebox duet solution which actually was around the same price and works great for me. Logitech Squeezebox Duet
