5 out of 5 stars Buy one now, you won't be disappointed!   January 6, 2009

After much research both in-store and online I finally settled on the Klipsch SXT. Mainly due to the reviews here on Amazon.

All I can say is this unit is fantastic. Excellent sound, good bass, great build quality, good weight, excellent size much smaller than I expected. The pictures available online and here don't do it justice its a very nice piece of kit.

I had considered the JBL onstage 3 and JBL Radial. I think the audio quality is closer to the JBL Radial but at a fraction of the cost. The onstage 3 doesn't come close.

Highly reccomended

5 out of 5 stars Excellent   January 5, 2009

Received for Christmas (after some very subtle hinting). It was intended for the kitchen due to the space limitations however, we ended up using it in the lounge the sound was that good. Excellent overall sound even more so considering the size. Charges my iPod v3 without any problems. Our Christmas guests have take the model number and intend to buy one themselves. Buy this, you won't regret it.

4 out of 5 stars Revenge   January 4, 2009

Had this unit for a few weeks now. Very pleased with the sound quality and looks. 'Revenge' relates to my children telling me to turn my music down! how cool is that?
For me the unit works very well(bedroom), if there was a problem it would be that when you turn the unit off you have to turn your i-pod off seperatly. Not that bigger a deal but I feel the need every time you push buttons on my i-pod i automatically support the top to stop it flexing on the base.
All in all a great buy.

5 out of 5 stars A brilliant sound from a small dock   January 1, 2009

The previous reviews were a great help in choosing the right docking station for my wife's new iPod - I would have loved to have got the Bose system, however at half the price, this is far more than half the value...

A relatively small unit which is a bonus but a really rich sound. The remote is very basic with only forward, back, volume up/down and pause but there's nothing to stop you walking over to the iPod and doing anything else manually...

A good range of well adaptors so lots of iPod versions can be accommodated.

All in all a great value purchase - if your budget wont stretch to the Bose system then you will be happy with what you get for your s with this unit.Klipsch iGroove SXT - iPod Docking Speaker Sound System

1 out of 5 stars Please do not buy!   December 27, 2008

Absolutely awful sound quality. Despite having tried every permutation of the EQ setting this does NOT compare with the Bose in any way shape or form. Music sounds like it is coming from a deck of cards inside a metal garbage can. I am highly disappointed. What a waste of money. Buy Bose.
