these are by far te worst speakers i hav ever owned,the arrived and i had to wire the socket myself which didnt impress me and then the quality of sound was pathetic,even by this price i expected better,do not buy.

Cheap and cheerful speakers - if you're seriously into listening to music on your computer these might not be for you but for most other applications they will suffice.
One thing I would like to note as it wasn't emphasized in the product specification: the power cord is for 2-pin European plug sockets! (this was true for the set I received today at least)
This means you will need an adaptor to convert your standard 3-pin UK plug socket before you can use them.

For the incredibly cheap price its well worth the money you are paying. The subwoofer delivers a good bass and the speakers themselves deliver a good quality sound with very little distortion when the volume is cranked up to max. The volume control and on and off switch is also nicely designed and works perfectly.
However be warned, the cables are pretty short from the speakers to the subwoofer and also from the subwoofer to the PC so i would recommend buying some cheap extension cables as well.
Apart from that if you're looking for budget speakers these are some of the best available

I bought these as they were cheap and cheerful - and I had heard of Labtec.
As soon as I set them up (easy - straight out of the box) and heard the quality from them I was amazed. The sound quality is excellent for PC speakers and is way above that expected for the price.
They arrived the day after I ordered them ... well done Amazon and very well done Labtec.
