I was very disappointed with this album, just as much as I was with "Revelation". Bring back Dave Seaman PLEASE!!! Deep and progressive is fine by me, but this album has about 5 minutes of music, the rest is just a sound of banging drums listened to from underwater at your local swimming pool if you know what I mean... vvvvoah boom vooooah boom and so on. Then, when you think some melody is starting to emerge from the muffled boredom, it's back to square one in no time. Hernan's choice of records is stilish but kills everything Renaissance albums used to be... Vibrant for starters, emotional, melodic and original. This to me is worse than listening to Coldplay, and I Hate Coldplay!!! Dance music is about dancing and feeling happy, not about slashing your wrists on the dancefloor... which is what this collection sounds like, stay away if you loved "The awakening" and "Desire".

An absolute piece of musical craft by Mr Cattaneo.
Progressive, rolling, punchy, vocal, melodic.....I could go on, this album has the lot, mixed seamlessly and thoughtfully together.
CD1 is a little more laid back (but still on par with GU25 - Deep Dish in Toronto)
CD2 demands your full attention...say no more.
Buy it, you won't regret it...believe me!

Renaissance does it again, another superb proggressive mix album.If you liked Dave Seamen's Desire, and thought proggressive didn't come much better then check this out. I think Hernan has come up with another masterpiece for Renaissance here...
