5 Years on and it still sounds good. September 7, 2007 Mr. R. D. Turner (Derby, UK) Back in 2002 I was a gods regular and this cd stood out even then. 5 years later and 90% of my trance cd's have been ebayed or given to charity but not this one. I didn't keep any of the other Godskitchen CD's, only this one. Best CD is disk 2. Big trance for a big room.
Fleming does it again. July 8, 2002 This is arguably one of the most listenable and well put together trance compilations to find it's way onto the shelves in quite a while. Don't expect the usual swath of underground trance that seems to have become John 'OO' Fleming's trademark of late - this is a far more diverse selection out of the genre. An excellent selection of trance brilliantly mixed. Highly recommended.
Great stuff, very well mixed March 24, 2002 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My first GK CD, and i love it. Very good tracks and absolutely superb mixing which is to be expected of '00' Flemming. The CD's -do- go in different directions, but that's the point. 11pm is a warm up for things to come, and it works superbly with a surprisingly fast pace right from the first. 1am is my current favourite, the trance is powerful and energetic, you're totally in the groove by this CD. 3am is very slightly slower, but it's actually harder. No chilling out stuff here, it's trance, fast trance and hard trance all the way. Great CD collection regardless of price and stands proudly by all my Euphoria CDs, and at over 3.5hrs of music... you'd be silly to not buy it.
A must-have for trance fans. March 4, 2002 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is the first Gods Kitchen cd I have bought and i believe it to be a worthwhile purchase. Numerous underground tracks brought to the surface under he wing of better known dance tracks which bring you into a state of euphoria and keep you there for a few hours. I have become disappointed with MoS albums recently and i think ive been converted. Go buy!!!
Below Par Offering from the super club January 16, 2002 2 out of 9 found this review helpful
After listening to it 3 times through even though certain parts are good , it seems to be mix matched and just as it gets going on 1pm cd2, it goes off again in another direction.Well below standard from the first offering which was superb.
