Gone are most of the bugs that marred Cossacks 2. Its not new or original. But if you liked Cossacks you will love this! It is also stable & works well on my PC. The cannons & British rocket artilery are particularly good. Just love watching them. Uniforms are well detailed. Great fun. Should have been like this from the start!
There's a nasty voice over with an American accent that you can't turn off. (But for that would give it 4 stars.)The music is horrible too but that at least can be turned off. No marks for historical accuracy. The Battle of Waterloo is nothing like the real thing. The map is all wrong & where are all the other countrys? Unlimbering guns can jump & disapear. Took two attempts to install correctly on my PC.
Doesn't like working with my firewall so online play not possible. (Panda)

I obviously haven't played it yet but I would like to point out that it is stand alone so you will not be required to buy the original Cossacks 2. This game looks to be a lot of fun, just like Cossacks 2, which was a historically based real time strategy game which was very realistic.

I am looking forward to this great game as it includes everything from Cossacks 2 and it adds new features. Not bad for a game that only costs half the standard price!
