Sound!!! June 28, 2006 Spyder (UK) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Gotta say, haven't heard too much Ferry Corsten, and this is my first real intro to the Euphoria series, but for me, this is an all time great album!!!
If uplifting Trance is what you want, this album has some great tracks like "as the rush comes" by Motorcycle, which just has me jumping every time.
The only real downside is that the mixes can be a bit rushed, found some favourite tracks being mixed out quite early on when they still had plenty to deliver.
Overall....BUY IT!!!
ready to chage? October 30, 2005 Mauricio Ceballos C 1 out of 6 found this review helpful
yep, this CD is not the best of Corsten's work at all, the cover is cool but inside...mmm...starting with galaxia in symphonic remake which is cool to start...then angel? please this trance! what is this track doing here? and the funked up remix of what's that track?? no words to say that they don't have anything to do here...but they are on it. and thus..it doesn't push you up.
Cool effort October 27, 2004 Jamie E. I. Wright 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Basially Ferry has shown some skilled work here which is good and mixing fine but after time. You do realise that the mixes were too short 3mins a song before you feel the track you on the next more build up needed. But its worth buying and the tracks are outstanding but could have been better.
Disappointed September 11, 2004 Mr. T. Howells (England) 1 out of 4 found this review helpful
The one word that sums up what I thought about this album - disappointed. You aren't taken to "a higher place" like with the other Euphoria CDs, and many tracks seem to be over before they get going (e.g. The Prodigy). Also some of the music seems to be so out of place, such as track 13 on CD2 (System F - Cry), which is very slow and has slow, loud vocals. The Euphoria series of CDs have recently been taken over by MoS, so maybe that has something to do with this drop in standards? Maybe I was just expecting something different from this CD, or trance has dramatically changed in the last 12 months. Personally my only highlight on the entire album is Motorcycle - As The Rush Comes, which is an amazing tune!
There is a God! It's Ferry Corsten! September 6, 2004 7 out of 8 found this review helpful
Emotional!.....That is the best word to describe the experience of listening to this absolutely awesome compilation of tracks, mixed buy a total genius! The euphoria series has hit it big time with this one! Featuring excellent tunes such as 3D by DBA and 4X4's mix,'Midsummer Rain'.Not to mention the tracks,'The White Room',the Ferry Corsten remix of 'Synaesthesia' and Motorcycles'As the Rush Comes.' Ferry Costen knows exactly where to take you with track after track effortlessly phasing in and out. A brilliant effort, dispelling the repetitiveness of other'dance'discs. The combination of high and chilled trance music is balanced perfectly! ...A Masterpiece! Well played Ferry!!Where's my glow sticks?!
