5 out of 5 stars The Right Way   September 28, 2005

I have always been an fan of ferry corsten and his many guises but was slightly aprehensive when he released this album, as some albums from Djs who prodominantly do sets and mixes often dont carry over well into studio albums. this album however bucks the trend with many quality songs esspecially holding on, punk, it's time and rock your body. All have enjoyed huge dancefloor success being championed by many world famous DJs both in clubs and on radio. The slight problem i have is that ferrys trancec origins from adagio for strings, his new years day remix and art of trance seem to have been lost in this, making it slightly more mainstream and radio friendly. Bar this the odd weaker song does not detract from a great first album from ferry, bring on his next release!

I've always been a huge ferry corsten fan in all his various guises and some of his remixes (adagio, new years day) are awesome but i was a bit wary of how his first studio album may turn out, especially after punk and rock your body werent entirely my cup of tea although they have grown on me. I need not have worried though this album has some classic tunes and employs various styles.Myy personal faves being whatever and the awesome title track which is up there with the best trance tunes ever made.

What a fantastic album! Ferry takes you on a journey right from the start with a Sublime prelude which serves as an appetiser, whetting your appetite for another fine helping of perfected trance! This album has not left my cd player since it arrived!(although it is a 5cd changer!) The title track Right of way is a classic tune, one to be played with the volume right up!From punk it deviates to a wicked 80s style electronica, and winds down with some fantastic vocals from Shelley. So many great pieces and so many different moods! A must-have album for any Ferry Corsten fan!
