Ministry of S*** June 21, 2008 jon_hill987 (UK) I used to like the EUPHORIA albums but then MoS bought them and they started to go downhill fast. This isn't a EUPHORIA album. I decided after hearing this, not to buy another one again.
Fairly good December 25, 2005 Jamie E. I. Wright What makes this cd good is that theres 3disc which are completely different from each other. Firstly youve got Mr Judge Jules mixing classic uplighting euphoric trance. Then youve got a mix from Eddie Halliwell giving us a dose of Hard dance and techno.Last of all some funky crazy house from the Trophy Twins. So generally i feel this whole album has been reviewed hassly and is good. I would the mix Eddie Halliwell is the best he really shows how to rock roll a hell of a mix. Also Judge Jules giving fairly good mix and the house by the Trophy twins is very good.
Massive!! November 1, 2005 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
I can't believe some of the reviews for this album. This is one of the best Euphoria sets for ages. Judge Jules' disc is high quality and the Trophy Twins' disc is patchy but enjoyable. However the main reason to buy this album is Eddie Halliwell's incredible CD. It is a contender for the best hard house disc I have ever listened to. Highly recommended.
Dull as dishwater August 25, 2005 1 out of 4 found this review helpful
Cant believe how dull/uninspiring/drab/dire this album is. Moreover I cant believe I paid for it. Hope MOS read these reviews and get service back to normal for the next album. I buy these without even listening to them first. Next time round I'll be listening to the album before purchase. To cover the gap till the next album I've dug out the first 2 Eurphoria albums.
very original August 15, 2005 Mr. Mark Richards 6 out of 8 found this review helpful
While i wouldn't say this is a typical Euphoria compiltation i would say that i was pleasantly surprised by it. Euphoria cds have mostly been euphoric trance, however dance music has moved on now, with the selection of trance out there not as dynamic and groundbreaking as it once was. The Euphoria team has spotted this and opted for something slightly different. They've seen how the market has changed and opted for three cds of differing styles. They've gone for the driving techno and hard trance favoured by eddie halliwell a man at the top of his field, as well a dirty house cd mixed by the very talented trophy twins. They are both genres which have come on a lot in the last 1-2 years. It still maintains a trance cd, however Judge jules always offers something a bit different to your convential hands in the air trance and in my opinion is up there with the best of them. Having seen all these djs within the last three months each cd perfectly mirrors the styles that they have been playing out. Its refreshing to hear a complilation that features no commercial nonsence what so ever. This is what i can't understand about one of the other reviews, with the reviewer saying its like a ministry of sound summer cd.How?Its absoloutly nothing like an mos cd.Theres no flip an fill on here!No tunes on it that have featured on other compiltions 6 months before!Your not going to get a compilation full of upfront tracks with a side helping of eddie halliwells traditional scratching on a mos cd!Tunes to look out for on each cd are.cd1. Modulation-sky cd2.Three drives-Greece 2000 cd3. Corborn-interupt this programme. All in all if you want a cd that actually has the tracks you would hear at your proper clubs godskitchen, passion etc and not your cheese ridden clubs favoured by cap wearing dave pearce worshippers then this is for you because its an absloute belter!these ARE the tunes you'll be hearing in the summer
