I feel you cannot really appreciate the musicality of this cd unless you hear it through a decent Hi-Fi/system, i listened to it in a car and it didn't do it justice so tried it at home.....wow. Danny Tenaglia's taste on this cd is so far from what you'd think of he'd like due to him being a uptempo house dj. While a lot of the tracks are still very electronica and chill out type tracks, they are very good. Especially when you read the Cd sleeve and find out that he whittled down his favourite tracks from a collection of 15,000. First class, a lesson in music.

This is a top album, if you like jazzy eclectic house then put this on for sunny, lazy sunday..

I have quite a few of the back to mine collections and this one doesnt quite sit like the others. It feels more like a relaxed house mix rather than an eclectic collection from the artist. Unfortunately it also sounds a little cheesy.A good house mix cd but back to mine calibre? Not quite convinced Danny

Put simply, this is the best album in the Back to Mine series. It is probably the most unusual as well. When you play it in the car with your friends, some will look at you like you have lost it. Those friends will have really poor music collections, however, with no variety at all.
The album is a case of when different is good. And in the case of the Back to Mine series......the best.

Danny put's together a deep set of ecclectic tunes to chill you out whilst keeping you hot! The Opening Track is New York Skylines and Cocktails with the Fashion Set! Pure Hollywood Grace...then it's the beats from the basement that capture your soul and keep you bouncing round the room. This is essential after party fodder...The Flip side of Danny.Olleta Adams' Rythm of Life is placed two thirds of the way through and lifts the crowd to a sexy uplifting highpoint...before the he takes you to an Eygptian Oasis for that final drink - then you drift off to some Latin quarter for a little Samba and all you can hear as the CD closes is the gramaphone needle ...and you ask yourself " Did I just dream all that?" Buy this CD and your credability goes up three Points! Danny Tenaglia is one of the worlds great DJ's add this to your CD collection and be more than just the host with the Cafe Del Mar Collection!
