The battery life is dreadful; the signal strength is at best poor and the design shocking.
Don't waste your money (like I did) going for the cheaper option. It's far more frugal to pay a little bit more and get one that cradles and charges your ipod while running the transmitter all from your cigarette lighter.

After reading all the reviews I took the risk and bought it. Arrived pretty quick and it works perfectly and at a great price. I use it on my ipod shuffle in the car! Couldn't asked for a better product for this job! It even has a car charger so it just runs off that! Perfect! Definitely buy it!!!!

I highly recommend this transmitter. I use mine in the car and it gives great sound quality and is so easy to set up. I looked for a good transmitter for ages since my last(more expensive) one broke. I read all the reviews and took a gamble on this one. It was worth it. It's cheap price point and free delivery made it very appealing too. The transmitter arrived very quickly and well packaged. I highly recommend this product and this seller.

I had high hopes for this gadget to help me learn French from my ipod on the way to work. The display was faint, the signal reception was poor despite being around 1m from aerial to transmitter and the batteries lasted no time at all. Overall very disappointing.
Maybe I have been unlucky and got a dodgy bit of kit however I am more inclined to think that its cheap and of fairly low quality. I would recommend trying an alternative as I now have to.

I use this in my car (which does not have a cassette slot) to play my cassettes via a Walkman as well my MP3 through the car radio,no problem.
