This is Blank and Jones fourth album.WHO? you might say: a German duo (trio) of DJ's/producers who make uplifting trance that isn't just 'Trancemaster 5000' compilation fodder.
This latest offering continues where their third album Nightclubbing left off with a well sequenced list of bassy trance with hummable melodies and operatic space filling synths. It ain't deep but when it comes to turning up the volume and forgetting about everything else this cuts it with the best.
Best played at high volume on car stereo or excellent Friday night going out preparation.
Their second album DJ Culture hinted at a slightly darker industrial direction (nods to Front 242 and Nitzer Ebb), and my only slight criticism would be that it would have been good to see them develop this a bit over the last two albums.
If you like DJ Tiesto you'll love this, but 'pop-industrial' fans (Apoptygma Berzerk, VnV nation) will dig it too.
Four not five stars for not being as good as DJ Culture.
