I wasn't sure that ATB was going to live up to his other album's, yet i still bought it and it was no mistake, not only is it a great album, i think it is atb's best album so far! I think that the best tracks are You're Not Alone (Released In April) and Hero & I Wanna Cry (Both dedicated to all effected by the September 11th attacks) The only minus point with this cd is that it is no longer than one hour long... but the quality of the music make up for this! You also get a code to get into the VIP area of ATB-Music.com atb's official web site! All in all (maybe a bit biased as i myself am an ATB Webmaster) this is a great album, something that will sound great in The Summer, and indeed all year around!
If you're only buying one CD this year, buy THIS!!! February 6, 2002 4 out of 6 found this review helpful
I'm impressed with this album. As I consider myself the number one atb fan in the world i can only say this man, Andre Tanneberger is a genius! Play the CD. The first song "Dedicated" is one of the coolest things i've heard and i can say that all the tracks of the CD have a very high quality. The only one that i dont like is "Hero". perhaps it's a good song but it's very poppy, and i dont understand much this kind of music. But this shows that ATB can create any style of music he wants with all his talent and creativity. He showed us his particular vision of a beautiful and mysterious life with his previous works (Movin' Melodies and Two Worlds, two superb LP's offering what i've always been looking for. music that makes me feel alive and above all, music that makes my imagination flow and my mind think or chill, depending on my mood) And also this is a music that is different from the rest. The following single, that will be edited in April, is a cover of the hit from Olive "You're not alone" and it's, like germans would say, "Einfach obergeil"!!! ;) The album ends with an impressive tune, called 'Remember'. I'm sure this will be between your favorites. it's a mix between Enya, Chicane, Solar Stone, ATB...with the sound of the seawaves and very cool summer sounds and a very special beat! Definitely, all the tracks are each one a masterpiece by themselves. if you like Chicane, BT, Solar Stone, the previous ATB works or any kind of melodic, balearic trance, this is your album! Trust on me.
Another top quality album from ATB! February 5, 2002 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
ATB has continually impressed me with the subsequent release of new albums. First the brilliant Movin' Melodies, then the amazing double CD which was Two Worlds, and now his third album under the name ATB called Dedicated. ATB's style continues to progress more and more with a wide mixture of tracks from the Trance styled Basic Love and Halcyon to more relaxed tracks like Get High and I Can't Stand. Arguably, one of the best tracks is ATB's cover of the Olive classic You're Not Alone - one of my all-time favourite tracks. This new version, now fuelled with trance beats and the vocal talents of Roberta Carter Harrison of the Wild Strawberries, is a very worthy update what was originally, and still is a great track. The best ATB album yet? Quite possibly, my advice is to buy this now!
Great CD....ATB never fails to impress!!! January 30, 2002 gheorghe_hagi@hotmail.com (Vancouver, Canada) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is yet another great release from a great and succesfull producer and DJ... Andre Tannenberger. His CD is a very good blend of trancy rhythms that make it a very good listening experience. It contains the already very succesful Let U Go and Hold U that is making a big impact right about now. Whether it's a better album that Two Worlds I cannot say but it definetelly does not dissapoint. If you like ATB even one bit it's worth getting it.
